Terms of Service (Beta)
Effective: April 2026 · Indilum is a beta product.
1. What Indilum is (and isn't)
Indilum is a tool for families to organize and share their children's health records. Indilum is not a medical device, not a diagnostic tool, and not a substitute for professional medical advice. Nothing displayed in Indilum is medical advice. Always talk to a qualified healthcare provider about any medical questions or concerns.
2. Beta status
You are using a beta version of Indilum. That means:
- Features may change or disappear without notice.
- Bugs exist; some may cause data loss. Keep your own copies of anything critical.
- We may need to migrate or reset test data with reasonable notice.
- Do not upload records you would not want exposed if we had a security incident. Indilum does not currently carry HIPAA certification or signed BAAs with all subprocessors.
3. Your account
You must be at least 18 years old to create an account. You're responsible for keeping your login credentials secure and for activity that happens under your account. Tell us immediately at security@indilum.health if you think your account has been compromised.
4. Your data, your rights
You keep ownership of everything you upload or create in Indilum. You give us a limited license to process that data for the sole purpose of operating the service for you (storing it, extracting structured metrics from your documents, displaying it to you and to people you explicitly invite or share with).
You can export or delete your data at any time from account settings. See our Privacy Policy for details.
5. Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- Upload records belonging to people who haven't consented to you doing so.
- Use Indilum to store data that's subject to regulatory requirements we have not yet met (e.g. PHI that requires HIPAA compliance by the covered entity).
- Attempt to access other users' data, reverse-engineer the service, or run automated scanners against production without prior written permission.
- Abuse the service (spam, scraping, resale).
6. Disclaimers and liability
Indilum is provided "as is" during the beta, without warranties of any kind. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages, or for loss of data arising out of your use of the service during the beta period. Our total liability for any claim arising out of your beta use is capped at USD 100 or the amount you paid us, whichever is greater.
7. Termination
You can stop using Indilum at any time and delete your account from account settings. We can suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms, with notice unless we reasonably believe immediate action is required to protect other users.
8. Changes
We may update these terms. Material changes will be emailed to account holders at least 14 days before they take effect. Continued use after the effective date means you accept the changes.
